Answers to the common ones
Where is my progress stored?
On your device, and only there. Outguess has no accounts and no server: your tokens, Daily Word streak, stats and League standing live in the app's own storage. That is also the limit of it — deleting the app deletes them, and there is no copy for me to restore. The one optional exception is Game Center: if you turn on score sharing, your leaderboard entries live with Apple, under your Game Center account.
I got a new phone. Does my progress come with me?
Only if the app's data does. Restoring the new phone from a backup of the old one, or moving everything over with Apple's device-to-device transfer, carries Outguess's storage across. Installing fresh starts from zero, and there is no account to sign in to. Remove Ads is tied to your Apple Account and restores anywhere (see below); token packs are consumable and do not.
I bought Remove Ads and it is gone.
Open SHOP and tap Restore Purchases. Remove Ads is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it restores on any device you sign in with. Token packs are consumable and are not part of a restore.
What does Remove Ads actually remove?
The interstitial that can appear between matches. Rewarded video stays available on purpose — it is how you earn tokens without paying — and it is always opt-in. No ad ever plays without you asking for it.
I lost a match and got my stake back. Why?
That is the rookie shield: for your first ten matches, a defeat refunds the stake, so two early losses cannot empty a new wallet. From the eleventh match on, stakes are real both ways.
How are hints priced?
In a match, from the match's own stake. Reveal shows one correct letter in its place and costs what the match stakes; Probe answers "is this letter in the word?" and costs about half. One of each per match, so a hint can nudge a board but never solve it for you.
In the Daily Word a Reveal is 100 tokens and a Probe is 50, and streaks pay for them: crossing 7, 14 and 21 days each earns a free hint, up to three in hand. A broken streak empties that pool.

One word a day, five letters and six guesses, the same word for everyone. Miss a day and the streak breaks. A streak of three days or more can be repaired on that day only, for 100 tokens; after midnight it is gone for good.
Past days live in the archive: the last week is free to play, older days unlock for 25 tokens each. Archive plays are for practice and do not feed your streak or stats.
What data leaves my phone?
Ad requests to Google AdMob (non-personalized — no tracking permission is ever requested), purchases through Apple, and anonymous gameplay and crash reports through Firebase. No account, no personal profile, no user content. The privacy policy spells out each one.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. That removes everything it stored, and there is nothing held on a server to ask about. If you want the analytics and crash records from your device removed as well, email me and I will take care of it.
